Endometrial Cancer and ColourQ Challenge #173

Today I'm playing along with the ladies over at ColourQ.  The inspiration is a family member who is fighting Endometrial Cancer and the ribbon color is peach.  This fit perfectly with the color combination:

I made a swing card using a paperset I bought from Joane Fabrics.  The cancer stamp set is from Unity.  I added color and bling with the pearls and peach ribbon.

I'm really hoping this card raises her spirits and lets her know we are thinking of her.

Thank you for taking a look, and always be a "Crafty Queen"!

Happy "Tweet" Birthday!

I am having so much fun making different kinds of folding cards.  There are so many different types of ways to have cards folded.  When I learn to make a new card, I'm just giddy!

Today, I decided to make my mom's birthday card and learn how to make a tag pop-up card at the same time.  What a treat!  At first I started by using scrap paper and worked out the bugs.  After that I used my mom's two favorite colors, blue and yellow cardstock.  I used a retired CTMH stamp set, I believe called How Tweet.  I also used the CTMH Indian Corn Blue Ink pad.

I know mom is just going to love this card!  I think it's just so tweet!

Until next time, be the best Crafty Queen you can be!

My Favorite {CTMH} Things" Blog Hop

Welcome to the "My Favorite {CTMH} Things" Blog Hop!

Love is in the air and today our Playing With Paper team is sharing artwork featuring some of our favorite products from CTMH. If you have come here from Carol Haines Du Ree then you are on the right path.

Today I have created a card just for my valentine so I needed the card to have a masculine feel to it.  I used a paper layering technique to stamp the flowers in Ruby ink.  Then I cut black cardstock and framed the 3 layers of Daisy paper.  I cut a 1 1/2 inch rectangle4 using the CTMH Cricut AP cartridge in Daisy and the layer in Ruby.  I stamped the "Happy Valentines Day" tag and assembled the card.  I absolutely love this large rose stamp.  This is a very good stamp to use for all kinds of backgrounds.  This SOTM selection is DEFINETLY a keeper!

Items used:
CTMH Ruby stamp pad
CTMH Ruby cardstock
CTMH Black cardstock
CTMH Black stamp pad

CTMH Silver tape lined ribbon
Black ribbon (from my stash)

Mojo Monday 275 Contest

Today the creative juices were flowing after making other cards for friends.  Seeing the sketch I knew just what paper and embelllishments I was going to use.

I used the Close to my Heart Avonlea Paper Packet and Canvas Embellishments.  I also used the CTMH Opaque gems.  The grey ribbon came from my stash.  I stamped "Thinking of YOU" at the bottom of the card.

I just think it's very pretty!  The canvas embellishments and gems just give this card the needed bling it needs.

If you would like an Avonlea Paper Packet feel free to view my website or contact me!

Thanks for looking!
